Within The Triad is the fifth studio album by the Japanese stoner rock band Eternal Elysium. Within The Triad would be initially recorded at Donner & Blitzen with co-producer Mathias Schneeberger in March 2009, the second time the two had collaborated. Additional recording and final touches would be handled from May - July 2009, also featuring recurring contributors Senpo Ito (Gumdrops) and Shinobu.[1] Within The Triad is also the first time an Eternal Elysium album would feature the same lineup as the prior album.
Within The Triad would be initially released via Japanese label Diwphalanx in the Fall of 2009. Dutch label Headspin Records did their own issue on CD with a slightly altered tracklist and a vinyl edition with five bonus tracks, made in line with the band's 2010 European Tour.[2] Within The Triad garnered positive reviews at the time of release.[3][4]
