White Witch Canyon was a stoner metal band originating from Oakland, forming in 2009.
History[]
White Witch Canyon formed some time in late 2007 or early 2008 with a sound heavily inspired by Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Soundgarden and Black Sabbath. At some point that same year the band released their self-titled debut album and would perform gigs in the California area.[1] The band would tour the United States in 2009 in support of the record, culminating with an appearance at Stoner Hands of Doom.[2]
Kozmik Artifactz would reissue the album in 2011 on vinyl, the first time their self-titled album would see such a pressing. The band itself is no longer active.
