Weedsconsin is the fifth studio album by the Wisconsin sludge metal band Bongzilla. Notably it's the band's first studio album in sixteen years following Amerijuanican and the first album with the band as a trio. Recorded in October 2020 in the "Year of the Pandemic", [1] Weedsconsin is also notably one of the last albums John Hopkins would engineer before his passing a month later. The album is dedicated to his memory.[2] The album would be released on 4/20 via Heavy Psych Sounds with a deluxe edition following that November featuring four songs recorded in the same sessions.[3]
