We Stand Against You is the upcoming seventh album by Mondo Generator. Set for a 13 October (Friday The 13th) release via Italian label Heavy Psych Sounds, it is the follow-up to 2020's Fuck It and features the same lineup from that album.
Background[]
In July 2023 details on the band's seventh album would surface, announcing the tracklist and premiering the song "Death March". Nick Oliveri would state the following of the album: “Nine songs of fire, fury and angst! Some of the songs are reflecting my personal thoughts and some songs are about family and close friends dying or committing suicide and some are about my experience with the corona lockdowns. This is a record of real emotion and not for the weak.”.[1]
In late August the next single for the release would be revealed in "One Two Three Four", described as "a song about depression and pills that doctors prescribe that make it worse. In this case, the person hangs herself. It’s a true story and the person I am singing about will remain missed by her loved ones, and will remain anonymous."[2]
