Voided is an extended play by the Lexington, Kentucky doom metal duo Dirtbag. The band's second EP and their fourth overall release, Voided would be released in February 2018 with tours supporting it to follow.
Background[]
In February 2017 Dirtbag introduced five new songs to their live set while phasing out all previous songs to that point. Forever Hangover was previously known as "Never A Day Sober" while SOT had the nickname "Dirt Life" in the early stages. Performing the new tunes and overall tightening up their sound with some of the shortest yet most focused songs of their career, Dirtbag would record their new EP in July 2017 with artwork provided by Brandon Claunch and Doodlehound once again handling the layout and pressing. Voided would also feature the band's first music video for the instrumental "Bongbreath", shot entirely on 18 December 2017 in their practice space known as "The Ice Box". The video was released on 8 January 2018.
The initial pressing of Voided is limited to 150 copies, set for a 23 and 24 February release (In turn a double release with Positively Lost: The Art of Doodlehound).
