History[]

Since the opening at the beginning of 2003 and based on a lot of production, UNICLUB has quickly established itself as one of the main urban and artistic nightlife venues in the city of Buenos Aires. In the first years of life, our Fridays and Saturdays had the FESTIVALS OF DESIRE, commanded by the now renowned theater director José María Muscari. Uniclub would also host FIESTAS DEL VONETE (predecessor of the current Clandestine Parties), BRANDON GAY DAY, UNDERTONES, CLUB NAMUNKURA, EL CLUB DE LA CUMBIA, Heavy Noise Festival, Concrete Jams Festival and Noiseground Festival among others.

Uniclub has also hosted the closing parties of the independent film festival BAFICI, of IUNA, among many other parties of film and theater schools, as well as parties organized by FM La Tribu, Wikipedia and different institutions of theater, music, internet portals and cinema.

Since the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 Uniclub has accentuated the productions of musical cycles, currently being one of the few venues in Buenos Aires that opens its doors seven days a week. Cycles such as Afrolunes have passed, which for three years has been the official after-party of La Bomba de Tiempo with the presence of different renowned musicians of the genre. Wednesdays have been a must for lovers of salsa, jazz mambo and Latin music at the hands of Latin Jam. We rock on Fridays with the Groovestock Party where national rock legends such as Skay, Viticus and "El Negro" Garcia Lopez have passed.
