Tronald are a sludge metal quartet originating from Manchester, England. Active since 2017 this band describes themselves on their Facebook as "Part-time middle class anti-false-metal performance art.". The band has songs with a downtuned, punky atmosphere along with tongue-in-cheek song titles such as "Boss Keloid Are Shit" and "Vegan Gains".
To date this band has released a single EP via APF Records and had performed largely in England.
History[]
Tronald formed roughly around 2017 and not long after officially announcing their existence, would release their eponymous EP on 30 September 2017 to positive reception from The Sludgelord[1] and Outlaws of The Sun.[2] The band would play a handful of shows in Manchester through 2018, including an appearance at the inaugural APF Records Showcase. The band has been relatively quiet since, with drummer Andy P also performing with Under.
