Tribes of Neurot was a collective side-project involving all of the members of Neurosis along with other friends and contributors. Infusing tribal structures, musique concrète, drone, and psychedelia Tribes of Neurot follows a similar aesthetic to Neurosis but from a radically different angle. Many of their releases also coincide and directly compliment specific Neurosis albums. A lot of their releases are purely experimental recordings.
On rare occasions members of the collective have performed, notably at the 2009 edition of Roadburn Festival for example.
