The Voice Of God is the only studio album by the English Doom Metal band known as Sloth. Recorded in January & July of 2000 2000 in Derbyshire and Mastered in London, The Voice Of God would see release in the Fall of 2000 via Eccentric Man Records, the first overall release on the label.[1] The Voice of God would be released in North America via The Music Cartel and on 16 December 2000 via JVC Victor in Japan, with a bonus track in "The Sadist". However the band would disband not too long after it's release.

At the time of release The Voice Of God attained critical praise from the likes of Kerrang!, Metal Hammer and Lollipop Magazine.[2] The Voice Of God attained somewhat of a cult following in the UK doom scene in the years since it's release and by several other publications.[3][4][5]
