The Unholy Trinity is a series of shows curated by Paradise Lost as part of the band's twentieth anniversary. Notably the band would attain Anathema and My Dying Bride as direct support, all three of whom cited together as key bands in the development of the death/doom and gothic metal genres, cited as "The Peaceville Three".[1]
Paradise Lost's setlist would be a career-spanning set spanning through their entire career, the majority being from the band's newest album In Requiem and the band's successful Draconian Times. Several songs would be played for the first time in years such as "Rememberance" and "Elusive Cure".[2] Anathema would largely perform songs from their alternative and gothic rock years rather than their death/doom material. My Dying Bride would perform songs from 1995's The Angel and The Dark River to 2007's A Line of Deathless Kings, along with introducing a new keyboardist and violinist in Katie Stone.
