The Sun, The Moon & The Witch's Blues are a five-piece heavy psych, blues and space rock band formed in Örebro, Sweden in 2013 by Robin Hirse and Jonas Ljungkvist.
History[]
The Sun, The Moon & The Witch's Blues were formed in Örebro, Sweden in the winter of 2013.[1] The original members of the band were Robin Hirse (guitar and vocals) of Asteroid and Jonas Ljungkvist (guitar).[1]
The band's first release came on September 6th 2014 in the form of The Sun, The Moon & The Witch's Blues EP.[2] The EP was independently recorded between the 1st and 4th May 2014[3] and released via their own label, Mount Banana Recordings.[1]
In late 2014 the band decided to enlist the help of Tobias Eriksson of the psychedelic noise punk band Light Screamer[4] (guitar), Joakim Kohlscheen (bass) and Jimmi Kohlscheen (drums) to add extra depth and texture to the sound.[1] They are currently working on new material for their first full length release.[5]
