The Split CD is a split EP between California rockers Queens of the Stone Age and the Dutch stoner rock of Beaver. The first pressing of the split would be released in September 1998 via Man's Ruin Records. A green marbled 10" pressed at 45RPM was also released and limited to 2000 copies. Subsequent CD pressings featured a different catalog number (2000 pressing) and a green CD (2001 pressing).
Both Queens of The Stone Age songs "The Bronze" and "These Aren't the Droids You're Looking For" were recorded two days before sessions began on the self-titled album. Both songs would later be included in the 2011 reissue of Queens of the Stone Age's self-titled debut album, originally released in 1998.
The Beaver songs "Morocco" and "Absence Without Leave" are misprinted, and are labeled for the opposite songs.
