The Sobbing Murmur of the Sea is the thirty-second album by Canadian solo act Soulers, released on August 15, 2020. It consists of a single 43-minute track and is the eighth instalment in the single-track album series. The title-track's lyrics are taken from poems by occultist Aleister Crowley and there is a sample of his call to Aethyr at the beginning of the song.
Album Information[]
The album is a return to the project's original stoner doom style from earlier albums, although it still has some elements from funeral doom, which were explored in previous albums.
