The Resurrection of Whiskey Foote is the third and final studio album by The Hidden Hand. It would be recorded and mastered at The Barn in Brookeville, MD and mixed at The Magpie Cage in Baltimore, MD. The Resurrection of Whiskey Foote would be released on 20 February 2007 via Southern Lord Records on CD, along with a limited Double CD that contained Devoid of Color as a bonus disc. This would prove to be the final Hidden Hand release as the band would disband six months later.[1] Because of The Hidden Hand's dissolution, Southern Lord would opt out of releasing the album on vinyl to which Doomentia Records would put out the vinyl version two years later.
The Resurrection of Whiskey Foote would garner critical praise from numerous publications such as Blabbermouth (9/10),[2] BraveWords (8/10),[3] Metal Reviews (86/100),[4] Your Last Rites,[5] Exclaim![6] and Metal Rage.[7]
