The Fizz Fuzz is a stoner rock/blues rock project formed out of Northern California by the husband-and-wife duo of Dandy Brown (Hermano, Orquesta del Desierto) and Dawn Brown. To date the duo has toured Europe and has released a single album in 2020.
The Fizz Fuzz began officially in the winter of 2017 when the Browns relocated to Northern California and began writing a new collection of songs, followed by touring together in the Spring of 2018. Recording and performing throughout 2018 and 2019, The Fizz Fuzz would have a new album set for a 1 March 2020 release via Taxi Driver Records (Europe) and Slush Fund Records (Worldwide).
Titled Palmyra, the debut album by The Fizz Fuzz features performances by David Angstrom (Hermano/Luna Sol), Steve Earle (Afghan Whigs), Mike Callahan (Hermano/Earshot), Alice Albertazzi and Gianfranco Romanelli (Alice Tambourine Lover), and Mark Engel (Orquesta del Desierto). A music video for "Hereby" would be premiered on 4 February 2020. Palmyra would see release on 1 March 2020 to positive reviews. The Fizz Fuzz were intended to tour that June in support of Palmyra but would be forced to postpone due to the CO-VID19 Pandemic.
