The Ethereal Mirror European Tour
(1993)

The Ethereal Mirror European Tour was a tour held in the Summer of 1993. It would be headlined by Cathedral, who would be signed to Earache Records at the time and supporting their second album The Ethereal Mirror released on 24 May 1993. Supporting Cathedral would be the California stoner metal band Sleep, signed to Earache Records at the time and supporting Sleep's Holy Mountain, released in November 1992. Finally, Penance would be the third band on the tour, signed to Rise Above Records and touring in support of 1992's The Road Less Travelled.

Notably, several dates of the tour would merge with another tour going on at the time, with six dates in Germany also featuring the Florida-based death metal band Cannibal Corpse (Touring in support of 1992's Tomb of The Mutilated) and the Los Angeles industrial/groove metal band Fear Factory (Touring in support of 1992's Soul of a New Machine).
