Sundrifter is a stoner/desert rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Forming in 2012 and drawing inspiration from Desert Rock stalwarts such as Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age, Sundrifter found their niche in the Massachusetts rock scene, sharing the stage with a wide range of locals[1][2] among notable acts such as King Buffalo[3] and Gozu.[4]
Some years after forming the trio would release their first album Not Coming Back independently in 2016. Eventually the band would sign with Small Stone Records, releasing Visitations on 6 February 2018 to positive reception.[5] In 2019 the band would venture out west to perform at Planet Desert Rock Weekend[6] and as of 2020 have begun work on a new album.
