Stoners Rule is the debut studio album by the stoner rock band Stoner. Recorded live-in-the-studio the same day as the band would record their livestream set for the Live in the Mojave Desert series, Stoners Rule would be released circa June 2021 via the Italian label Heavy Psych Sounds.
Background[]
Stoner would form in the Summer of 2020 by Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri and Ryan Gut, expressing interest in starting a new band.[1] When the Live in the Mojave Desert series would be announced by the California Desert Wizards Association, Stoner would be one of five bands to record live sets for the series. The band would record their debut album a day before their live performance was recorded on 13 October 2020 (Though the live album would be released first.). Details on the album would surface in the Spring, with a release date of 24 June and the first single in "Nothin'".[2]
Stoners Rule would receive positive reception from the likes of Kerrang,[3] Distorted Sound[4] and The Obelisk[5] to name a few.
