Stoner Witch (Commonly stylized as stonerwitch) was a stoner rock band based out of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Stonerwitch began as band in October of 1999 in Buenos Aires, Argentina when Sebastián Romani answered Fernando Gigliotti's ad in where he was looking for a drummer to put a Stoner-Rock band. Together, with the help of bass player Rodrigo Teixido, they begin to rehearse a couple of dirty and fuzzed-out songs in the 70' style, which would be recorded short time later in their debut album, titled Ojos Del Salado, which was recorded entirely in Fernando and Sebastián's bedrooms without any type of professional assistance. The album was produced by guitarist Fernando, with the help of Rodrigo. In the meantime, the band starts to get known in the recent and small local Stoner-Rock scene. Though the album would attain positive reception and the band would appear on various compilations they would disband some years later despite a pre-production process for a second album.
