Sourvein / Rabies Caste (Also known as Rabies Caste / Sourvein) is a split 7" featuring the North Carolina sludge metal band Sourvein and the Israeli sludge metal band Rabies Caste. It was released in 2005 via Dada Drumming and limited to 1000 copies, split into five colors of 200 copies: Blue Swirl, Yellow Swirl, Grey Swirl, Red Clear and Coke Bottle Clear. It is packed in a flapped vinyl sleeve with a silver on black double-sided artwork. Some sources say the vinyl is 45RPM but it is highly unlikely to fit the length on that speed without losing sound quality.
Rabies Caste's track was recorded in Israel circa May 2003. Sourvein's recordings were done in Texas circa 2002 and in the same sessions as their second album Will To Mangle. Both tracks would be mastered by Billy Anderson.
