Soulers 2: The Drones Return (often stylized as soulers 2: the drones return) is the twenty-third album by the Canadian doom metal solo project Soulers, released on October 6, 2019. It is the first drone doom album from the project since 2018's Operatic, albeit introducing vocals.
Dai Maō originally intended to name the album How It Was Meant to Be and then Soulers O))), but settled with Soulers 2: The Drones Return, and kept the former for the last 2019 album.
The artwork of the album ressembles that of Earth's debut album Earth 2 - Special Low Frequency Version.
