Soul Sacrifice is the second EP by Cathedral. Recorded in the Winter of 1992 and released later that year, Soul Sacrifice would be the first Cathedral release to be distributed by Columbia once the band had signed to the label. Notably, it's also the first Cathedral release to feature Mark Ramsey Wharton and the last to feature Mark Griffiths.
The title track originally appeared on Forest of Equilibrium though the version presented here is longer and in a higher tempo. A music video would also be produced for "Autumn Twilight".
Soul Sacrifice would be re-issued in 1999 with Statik Majik as a compilation and again in 2009 as bonus tracks to the re-issue of Forest of Equilibrium.
