Sons of Tonatiuh was a Crust/Sludge band from Atlanta GA. The band was formed in the year 2008 and was made up of members from bands like Leechmilk, Fell A Victim, and Noble Rust. In the two years the band has been together they have pumped out three releases. One single, a demo, and finally in the year 2010 a full length self titled album (released on 15 May 2010). Normally a trio, the band would briefly become a quartet around the time of this release. A follow-up album in Paradise of Sorrow saw release on 11 June 2012.
Sons of Tonatiuh would tour on numerous occasions across the Midwest and East Coast USA, along with touring Japan in 2014 and Europe in 2015.
On 7 April 2018 Sons of Tonatiuh would announce they would be disbanding to which their final show would take place a month later on 4 May.
