Slow Ride / Future Transmitter is a 7" Single released by Fu Manchu and their personal label At The Dojo Records in 2016.
The A-Side is a cover of Foghat's "Slow Ride" (With the band's logo on the 7" modeled after Foghat's logo) and a song that the band had practiced and jammed before. At one point during the writing and recording sessions for King Of The Road the band chose between covering "Slow Ride" and Devo's "Freedom of Choice" but opted for the latter when offering a poll and the fans choice.[1] "Future Transmitter" is a non-album Fu Manchu original and the first new song by the band in two years.
Slow Ride / Future Transmitter would be released as a 7" and limited to 500 copies in red and clear vinyl. Some copies also had the labels misprinted and placed in reverse.
