She's So Heavy is a split 7" by Japanese acid folk singer-songwriter Ai Aso and Wata, guitarist of Boris. Despite having all members of Boris as Wata's backing band (Along with engineer Souichirou Nakamura) it is listed as a Wata solo release. Ai Aso's side is a cover of "Islands" by King Crimson while Wata's side is a cover "Angel" by Canis Lupus, written by Kitamura Musashi. Notably Wata recites the original first verse and then her own lyrics through the second verse before replacing the final verse with a guitar solo. The title of the split 7" is also derived from the classic Beatles song "I Want You (She's So Heavy)".
She's So Heavy was released on DiwPhalanx Records, limited to 1500 copies and including a sixty-page photo book.
