Share is the third studio album by Eternal Elysium. Recorded in 2001, it would be released in February 2002 via the American label MeteorCity Records. It's notably the only album to feature bassist Toshiaki Umemura and drummers Rio Okuya and Tom Huskinson. German label "I Used To Fuck People Like You In Prison" Records would handle the European CD and Share's only vinyl pressings.
In 2022, Ukrainian label Robustfellow would reissue Share for it's twentieth anniversary with a full remaster, liner notes and three bonus tracks, the following of which:[1]
- "Burning a Sinner" - Witchfinder General cover, released on the I Am Vengeance soundtrack.
- "Just Friends (Empty Love)" - Saint Vitus cover, intended for A Timeless Tale but never properly released.
- "Godzilla" - a re-imagining of the Godzilla theme that shifts into an instrumental jam. Previously unreleased.
At the time of release, Share was praised by several publications, most notably Sea of Tranquility[2] and Aural Innovations.[3]
