Sawed Off (1993) |
Sawed Off is a 45RPM single by the one-off band of the same name. Featuring members of Melvins, Acid King and White Flag, Sawed Off recorded two songs in the same sessions as The Melvins was recording Houdini, in early 1993 around the same time Bill Bartell recorded his parts for the band's cover of "Goin' Blind" by KISS.[1] The songs would be both credited to "The Ronsons" which was an inside joke and a band Bartell referred to "as real as Dale Nixon".
The 7" single would be released by Gasatanka Records in 1993 and limited to 1000 copies. Sawed Off (Buzz, Dale, Bill and Joey Osbourne) would perform once in April 1993 at Jabberjaw in Los Angeles, California.[2]
