Resonance of Shadows is the sixth studio album by Eternal Elysium. Self-produced by the band, it would be released by Yukito Okazaki's own Cornucopia Records in June 2016. Notably Resonance of Shadows would see the band singing more songs in Japanese than in English, a theme teased upon in 2009's Within The Triad. Resonance of Shadows features a cover of "Hiroshima" by Flower Travellin Band and re-recorded versions of "Views on C#" (Originally on Mysterious Views in Stone Garden) and "Unbound" (Originally on Ascending Circulation. Lastly, Resonance of Shadows is the last Eternal Elysium release to feature longtime drummer Antonio Ishikawa.

Dutch label Headspin Records would handle a vinyl edition in 2017, featuring five bonus tracks.
