Pyramidal are a psychedelic/space rock band originating from Alicante, Spain. Active since 2009 the quartet have released four albums, two live albums and a split to date, managing to perform all over Europe be it touring or appearing at marquee festivals. The band draws heavily from 70s psych, space and hard rock bands such as Hawkwind, Can, Black Sabbath, Amon Düül II, Captain Beyond or Ash Ra Tempel.

Pyramidal would start in 2010 as a quartet though little is known of their early years. It is known the band would sign with Gammertingen-based German label Krauted Mind Records, who would release their debut album Dawn In Space circa 2012. A second album in Frozen Galaxies would follow up not even a year later, releasing on 19 June 2013 to positive reception. Pyramidal would tour in support of this album, including an appearance at Freak Valley Festival that would be released the next year as a live album.

Pyramidal would tour again in May 2014, further supporting Frozen Galaxies. The band would largely perform at festivals the next year, including the twentieth edition of Roadburn Festival along with appearances at Yellowstock, Pure Rock Fest and 7 Infiernos Festival.[1] Following sporadic shows Pyramidal would release their third studio album From Other Spheres / Sabbra Arabia on 14 April 2017 to generally positive reception. Two years later the band would release a fourth album simply entitled Pyramidal on 15 April 2019 via Lay Bare Recordings.[2] The band would premiere their first music video on 2 September 2019 for "Digital Madness".
