Peabody's (Also known as Peabody's Downunder and Peabody's Concert Club) was a concert venue based in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 1977 in Cleveland Heights before moving to the Flats and later close to Cleveland State University, the venue would be known as a key space for punk and metal bands in the area.

History[]

The Peabody's legacy began in Cleveland Heights in 1977, and then moved to the Flats into what was the old Pirate's Cove, rechristened Peabody's Downunder in 1984. New owners brought the club to Cleveland State campus in 2001 and eventually changed its name to Peabody's Concert Club, where it would remain active until 2013 when CSU purchased the building.[1] The final hosted show at Peabody's would be Dying Fetus on 29 October 2013.
