Palmyra is the debut album by The Fizz Fuzz, a blues/psych rock project curated by Dandy Brown (Hermano, Orquesta del Desierto) and Dawn Brown. Featuring a wide arrangement of collaborators and guests, Palmyra would be released on 1 March 2020.
Background[]
The Fizz Fuzz formed in Southern California in the fall of 2017 by Dandy and Dawn Brown, relocating to Northern California that Winter. The duo would compose songs through the winter leading up to a tour of Europe that next summer, eventually recording once the tour was finished. The album is also set to feature David Angstrom (Hermano, Luna Sol), Steve Earle (Afghan Whigs), Mike Callahan (Hermano, Earshot), Mark Engel (Orquesta Del Desierto), Alice Albertazzi and Gianfranco Romanelli (Alice Tambourine Lover). "Dark Horse II" was notably previously recorded and performed by Hermano.
Palmyra would get positive reception from the likes of Doodlehound,[1] Desert Highways[2] and The Obelisk.[3]
