Never (Demo)
(1993)

Never is an eponymous demo by the one-time sludge supergroup of the same name. Recorded in the Fall of 1993 in New York City, Never would be a collaboration between Eyehategod and 13. According to a 2013 interview with Liz Buckingham, she would speak about the project with the following: "The deal was I wrote a song and jimmy wrote a song and then we all met up and jammed and recorded it at a studio in Brooklyn. It was all this last minute thing we did off the cuff while they were in town staying with us. I think deluded might have been the one I wrote cause I remember playing it later on in 13. So the Never stuff was never released officially but we always discussed putting it out at some point."[1]

The demo in itself was never officially released and only circulated through tape trading circles for years though "Deluded" did appear on the 1994 compilation Lvxvria.[2] The demo, along with an alternate take of Bruised, would be uploaded by a YouTube channel known as "Distort Oakland" on 4 September 2019.[3]
