Mournful Cries is the fourth studio album by the American doom metal band Saint Vitus, released in 1988. This was the band's last release on SST Records. The cover features a painting of a hydra ("Hour of The Dragon"), which was originally commissioned for a Yngwie Malmsteen album but ultimately unused.
