History[edit | edit source]

Mount Hush formed sometime in 2015, releasing the single King Beyond on 10 April and then their debut EP Low And Behold! on 22 April. The band's debut live performance would take place the same day in Munich alongside Dot Legacy and Swan Valley Heights.[1] The band would follow with a split EP with Atomic Mold on 20 October and begin performing more frequently throughout 2016 including appearances at Under The Black Moon and Valley of Doom.[2] On 18 December 2016 the band would release a split with Deaf Proof entitled Interstellar Smoke.

Leading up to the release of their debut album Mount Hush would perform several marquee and festival gigs, including an appearance at the 2017 edition of Keep it Low. Eventually the eponymous Mount Hush would see release on 7 February 2020 to positive reception, with an appearance at Still in Smoke to support it.
