Misanthropic Alchemy is the debut studio album by the English doom metal band Ramesses. Recorded on Halloween 2004 in Bristol, it would be released in the Spring of 2007 via FETO Productions on CD. Spanish label Mantricum Records would handle the initial vinyl issue, limited to 525 copies.
In 2013, Ritual Productions would re-issue Misanthropic Alchemy on CD (500 copies) and double LP (300 copies). The re-issue would feature two live tracks as a bonus: "Lords Misrule" live at Purple Turtle circa April 2010 and "Ramesses Part 3" live at The Old Blue Last circa January 2010. The CD reissue would feature a bonus disc containing We Will Lead You To Glorious Times, The Tomb and the band's track from their split with Unearthly Trance.
