Megalodoom was an instrumental doom sludge metal band from Nottingham, England.
History[]
Formed in Nottingham in 2012, Megalodoom consisted of three former members of Year Of The Flood, namely Chris Marsland, Barry Chadwick and Phil Roberts. Tanya Byrne (Bismuth) completed the line up.[1] Their debut release was an EP titled "Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Grief", issued as a cassette in collaboration of Tartarus Records and Dry Cough Records.[2] A second EP, "Tectonic Oblivion", followed, again on Tartarus, this time collaborating with Witch Hunter Records.[3] The band split up in January 2017, following the release of their final two recorded tracks via Bandcamp as "Last Rites".[4]
