Mars Red Sky, Be My Guide (2007 - 2013)[]

Early on the band would largely perform in France, sharing the stage with the likes of Shannon Wright, Tweak Bird, A Place To Bury Strangers and Killing Joke among others.[4] Following the release of a couple singles, the eponymous Mars Red Sky would see release on 12 November 2011 to positive reviews. To support the debut, the band would tour around Europe for the first time.[5]

Further touring would take place through the next Spring, including appearances at Roadburn Festival and the inaugural DesertFest Berlin among other gigs.[6] The band would notably release an LP with Year of No Light, serving as a split release on Side A and a collaboration between both bands on Side B. This unique release would come out via Headspin Records on 6 July 2012. Mars Red Sky would tour again in the Fall, with several dates alongside Samsara Blues Experiment.

The next year would see the band establishing an independent heavy rock label known as MRS RED SOUND,[7] with it's first release being an EP in Be My Guide, released on 8 April 2013 with three new songs and a cover of "Stranger" by 17 Hippies.[8] Mars Red Sky would also attain a new drummer in Mathieu Gazeau as they would tour all over Europe, appearing at events such as Desertfest London, Duna Jam, Void Fest and SonicBlast Moledo among other events and the band's first ever tour of South America.[9]
