Mark Ramsey Wharton is a drummer based out of England. Performing largely with thrash metal bands in the 1980s, he would be best known for his tenure with the English thrash band Acid Reign with Gaz Jennings and Adam Lehan and later the doom metal band Cathedral, performing on the seminal 1992 album The Ethereal Mirror. After his tenure from Cathedral he was briefly involved with the heavy metal band Cronos with Venom members Mike Hickey and Conrad "Cronos" Lant.
In 2013 he would form Workshed with former Cathedral bandmate Adam Lehan. The project would release a single album in 2019 before he would depart in 2021, with the project dissolving two years later.
