Maribel is the ninth album by the American one-man band Potmos Hetoimos. It was released on October 10, 2013 and is the last part of a funeral doom trilogy, preceded by Agatha and Evelyn.

Maribel picks up a year after the events of Evelyn and completes the story begun with Agatha. The storylines of Maribel and Agatha are interwoven, as they cover some of the same time from different perspectives.

Musical style Edit

Musically, Maribel advances the psychedelic and progressive doom explored with the previous albums, adding strings, woodwinds and live drums and incorporating jazz and progressive elements into the compositions, creating a sound unlike any other artist.
