Los Asteroide are an instrumental psychedelic/stoner trio. Forming in 2012 in Buenos Aires, Los Asteroide display a balance between the slow psych parts and their fuzzed out heavier riffs even within one song, capturing different sounds in order to build their own unique identity. To date the band has two studio albums and has performed largely in Argentina.

HistoryEdit

Los Asteroide would form in 2012 by the trio of Vecchio, Cerbasi and Mikkelsen, performing their earliest known show sometime in the Summer of 2012.[1] A few months prior the band had released their debut EP while working towards a debut album. The eponymous Los Asteroide would see release on 23 June 2013 to positive reception. Los Asteroide would perform in Argentina, Uruguay and other countries before embarking on a tour of Europe the next year to support their debut album.[2]

Los Asteroide would keep active in the Argentinian scene while working on a studio album through November and December 2015. Trotamundos would then see release on 1 October 2016. Los Asteroide still remains active, occasionally performing in the Argentina area.
