TBA (TBA) |
Live at Amoeba is the fifth live album by Om. An archival release and the first official release to feature Chris Hakius since 2008's Live at Jerusalem, it would be surprise released by Holy Mountain Records on 1 September 2022. Pressed on red vinyl, it would be limited to 500 copies and would sell out in less than 24 hours. A black vinyl edition also exists but also sold out very quickly.
Notably, live video of the Amoeba set had circulated for years, featuring the band performing "To The Shrinebuilder" and "At Giza". This live album would feature "Flight of the Eagle" which was not part of the original broadcast though would omit "To The Shrinebuilder", likely due to limitations. Zak Riles (Grails, Watter) would mix the recordings for vinyl.
