Live is the third live album by Om and the first official live release to feature the band as a trio. It was released in late 2014 via Outer Battery Records.
Background[]
On November 30, 2013, during a tour of Europe, Om performed at the Sonic City Festival in Kortrijk, Belgium. Outer Battery Records, having previously distributed a Sleep live LP, opted to put out a recording of this performance.
According to the label Live was housed in a plain white sleeve with a paste on wraparound cover and limited to 1000 copies. 800 copies were issued on "Acupulco Gold" vinyl while 200 copies were issued on "Panama Red" vinyl. It was mastered at Golden Mastering. A third "Purple Smoke" edition would be composed in 2019 in an unknown limited amount.
State of Non-Return, Cremation Ghat II and Gebel Barkal were also performed at this show but left off the vinyl release.
