Lacertilia are a five piece Stoner Rock band from South Wales, formed in 2013
History[]
Lacertilia were founded in 2013 around the time of the break-up of Matt Fry's former band The Witches Drum. The band has a heavy stoner rock sound with elements of psychedelia, space rock, blues and proto-punk.
The early days of Lacertilia saw a few line-up changes, before settling on the current five piece of Matt Fry, Tom Cole, Michael Young-Temple, Lucas Zalunski and Carl Richards. They released their first EP, Crashing into the Future on the 10th of January 2015 shortly after releasing a teaser video for the eponymous track from the EP.
