La Distancia is the second studio album by the Argentina instrumental rock band Poseidótica, released in 2008 via Aquatalan Records. It would be recorded live on 5 and 6 May 2007 at Del Cielito Studios along with overdubs and additional instrumentation at Estudio El Arbol between June and August 2007. Mastering would be handled in Puro Mastering and overall the album would be produced by the renowned Juan Stewart.
The bandcamp bio on the album describes the album as an evolution, exhibiting a much more mature cerebral rock style, showing a dynamic personality and developing a mathematical and progressive music, combining intensity with quieter moments. Notably it would be the only album to feature drummer Federico Bramanti, who would leave the band a few months after the recording.
