Location | Frederick, Maryland, USA |
Krug's Place was a bar and grill based in Frederick, Maryland. Active for roughly seventeen years, the venue was founded by the Krug family. When the place wasn't hosting shows it largely served as a bar and grill, with much of their proceeds going to charities. In 2012 the space would be bought under new ownership and be renamed into Jekyll & Hyde Restaurant.[1]
Notably, Krug's Place would host two editions of the seminal and influential Stoner Hands of Doom festival. Two Unorthodox live albums (Unseen World and Live at Krug's Place) were both recorded at Krug's Place. A benefit for Adam Heinzmann was also notably held at the venue.[2]
