In The Name of Satan - Tribute To Venom is a tribute album to the British first wave black metal/NWOBHM band Venom. This compilation was curated by German label GUN and released in 1994, featuring thrash metal, doom metal and heavy metal bands, along with Venom themselves appearing on the compilation. The compilation would be mixed at LYNX Studios along with various other studios around the world.

Notably Venom drummer Abaddon appears on most of the songs as a guest on nine of the ten songs, while Drew Gallon (ForGodsSake) guests on four tracks and John Connelly (Anthrax, Nuclear Assault) performs on three songs. The cover of "Countess Bathory" performed by Messiah Marcolin is often erroneously credited to Candlemass (And sometimes credited as "Ex-Candlemass") and was recorded after his first departure from the band.
