In The Mushroom (1997) |
In The Mushroom is the only studio album by the psychedelic collaborative group known as Lid. Recorded as a collaboration between Danny Cavanagh (Anathema) and Eric Wagner (Trouble) it would be released in 1997 initially via Peaceville but also in the United States via The Music Cartel. It would be recorded at Apollo Studios in Pittsburgh, PA along with Trackwork Orange in Chicago. Mixing would be done at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA. Lastly the mastering would be handled at Battery Studios in London, England. The initial version had ten songs but the American and Japanese version feature a cover of "Don't Let Me Down" by The Beatles as a bonus track.
In The Mushroom would also be reissued in 2014 via Peaceville on 180 Gram LP.
