Imperial Bastard is the third EP by the North Carolina sludge metal band Sourvein. Recorded by Vince Burke whom did engineering on the other two EPs and the band's third album Black Fangs. It's notably the only Sourvein release to feature the late Boone Doom and drummer Ramzi Ateyeh (Buzzov*en) along with the last release to feature J. Clyde Paradis.

Released by Candlelight USA as CD (cat. # CDL0378CD), limited edition. Imperial Bastard was re-released by Emetic Records (December 20, 2011) as a 7" vinyl, limited to 500 copies on purple gray marbled vinyl. It was packaged as a bonus disc for the vinyl edition of Black Fangs.

The album cover is a vintage drawing of the infamous pirate Blackbeard (1680 - 1718).
