Hocus Pocus Festival is a festival starting in 2016 presented by Abraxas and the Hocus Pocus brewing company in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. This festival mostly deals in Stoner Rock from the Brazilian scene but has also procured bands from other countries like Radio Moscow[1].
Background[]
Founded in Rio de Janeiro in 2014, the Hocus Pocus is a craft brewery focused on surprise and test the limits of what can be done with beer. At some point in 2015, Hocus Pocus worked with booking company Abraxas to form the first Hocus Pocus Festival in 2016. Mainly dealing with Brazilian stoner and psychedelic bands they also managed to branch beyond South America by having Radio Moscow as one of their headliners for the initial edition.

The second edition of Hocus Pocus Festival was held in two different parts of Brazil throughout March. The first of two nights was on 8 March in Porto Alegre at Riffe Bar.[3] The second was held in Rio de Janerio on 12 March at Cais da Imperatriz.[4] Samsara Blues Experiment served as the headliner for both nights.
