Hipnosis (aka Festival Hipnosis) is a festival hosted in Mexico City, specifically the Huixquilucan region. It is hosted in an outdoor park with food trucks and other amenities.[1] Hipnosis also functions as a promoter and has presented several touring bands for marquee shows in Mexico such as The Make-Up, Kikagaku Moyo, Khruangbin, Thou and many others.

The inaugural Hipnosis would be hosted at Deportivo del Estado Mayor Presidencial circa 9 December 2017 and the only time this location was hosted.[2] A Hipnosis showcase would be hosted on 11 November 2017 at Foro Indie Rocks in Mexico City,[3] featuring six bands.[4]

The 2018 edition of Hipnosis would be hosted on 6 October 2018 at Restaurante Las Caballerizas in Huixquilucan. This lineup would feature eleven bands over a single day.[5][6] Hipnosis would also present festival headliner King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard in Monterrey two nights prior.[7]

The 2019 edition of Festival Hipnosis would be hosted on 26 October 2019 at Restaurante Las Caballerizas in Huixquilucan. Several bands would be announced through the summer, with the final lineup completed by 1 August.[8] A second stage for DJs known as Abduccion would be hosted and presented by VANS.[9] Electric Wizard were originally announced among the lineup but would cancel on 16 October with Fu Manchu as the replacement.[10]
